This scholarship has now been changed to be handled directly through Michigan State University starting 2026.  To apply for the scholarship, you must go to your MSU portal site and apply there.  If you have a problem, please contact your MSU advisor.

The Michigan State University Oakland Spartans have one of the oldest and largest scholarship programs of any alumni club. Many years of fundraising activities (such as service auctions, art auctions and working concession stands at the Silverdome) have allowed us to create the largest endowment of any regional alumni club.

We are very proud of the quality of the students that have received our scholarship and expect that future recipients will also show the excellence that makes Michigan State University one of this country’s great universities.

We have also included a section that gives the names and high schools of past winners.
